“ Uitzonderlijk vriendelijke en vrolijke bediening en kok. Zeer verwelkomend en amicaal (de kok vroeg bijvoorbeeld uit zichzelf of ik de WiFi wilde gebruiken). We hebben prima schnitzels gegeten met heerlijke frietjes en salade, en dat voor een zeer schappelijke prijs. Het is natuurlijk geen haute cuisine maar gewoon een lekkere Duitse maaltijd met een biertje ernaast. Authentiek genieten. Aan alles zie en merk je dat het een echt familiebedrijf is; aan de muur hangen veel foto's van het pand en eigenaren door de jaren heen almede vele oude foto's van het stadje Herzberg. Een authentieke Kneipe/restaurantsfeer. Ik kom zeker vaker terug! Dank voor de fijne ervaring! ”

“ Waren nach Arztbesuch hier essen, man kommt hier in ein gemütliches kleines Lokal mit langer Tradition. Da wir erst nicht wussten ob wir uns einfach hinsetzen dürfen, ging ich zum Tresen und sagte „wir möchten gern etwas hier essen“, lustige und nette Antwort „so sollte es sein, wir sind ja eine Gaststätte“ … Gelächter … das Eis war sofort gebrochen . Die Bedienung war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich, auch manchmal etwas freundlich „frech“, was nie negativ rüberkam. Das Essen war sehr gut, auch wenn meine Remoulade zur Sülze scheinbar aus der Tube kam. Sie schmeckte mir sehr gut, so finde ich das legitim. Die Teller waren reichlich gefüllt und somit war der Preis von 13 bzw 15 € völlig gerechtfertigt. Um die Mittagszeit war der recht kleine Gastraum gut gefüllt, offenbar viele Stammgäste. Das spricht nochmal für dieses Lokal. Wir haben unser essen nicht einmal geschafft, die Kellnerin fragte von sich aus, ob sie den Rest einpacken darf, das nenne ich Gästeorientierung. Außer Haus Essen bestellen und abholen geht auch. Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen, vielen Dank für die tolle Stunde bei Euch. ”
